The conference will focus on the industrial plant utilities of compressed air, blower, vacuum and cooling systems. Presentations that highlight intersections between these plant utilities are greatly welcomed. Presentations should also encompass one or more of these themes.
Quality & Safety Management – Specifying and verifying compliance with ISO 8573.1 Quality Classes for compressed air to reduce product rejects and ensure safety. Safety assurance in pneumatic circuits. Legionella and cooling water safety.
Facility Maintenance & Reliability – Lubrication, monitoring and maintenance “best practices” for onsite utility equipment for long-life and quality performance. Balancing reliability with energy efficiency.
Energy Conservation / IoT Monitoring – Focusing on chillers, air compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps, learn to reduce “kw per product produced”. Learn Key Performance Indicators and learn to use IoT monitoring tools. Challenge long-held pressure, flow, dewpoint and water temperature specifications. Centralized system design and benefits.
Water Conservation / Energy Management – Focusing on cooling towers and chillers, learn to Challenge the need for water-cooled air compressors and vacuum pumps. Water treatment reduces cooling tower water consumption. How to create an energy management culture.
Presentations must be educational in nature and may not sell or promote any particular product or service during the presentation. Any presentations that attempt to sell a company’s products or services will not be accepted. Sessions are 2 hours long featuring 4 speakers, with 30 minutes allotted for each speaker’s presentation.
